Georgetown University Convenes First-Ever Forum of FCC Chief Economists

WHAT:
Former FCC Chief Economists assess telecommunications policy.

The program, "Seeking Efficiency, Investment and Competition: The Chief Economists Speak Out," is the second in a series of telecommunications policy forums this year sponsored by the Center for Business and Public Policy at Georgetown University's Robert Emmett McDonough School of Business.

WHO:
Keynote speech by Glenn Hubbard, Former Chairman, President's Council of Economic Advisors and Russell L. Carson Professor of Finance and Economics at Columbia University.

Panelists include all nine former chief economists of the Federal Communications Commission: William Rogerson; David Sappington; Gerald Faulhaber; Simon Wilke; Michael Riordan; Tom Hazlett; Michael Katz; Joseph Farrell; and Howard Shelanski.
