A Global Reputation and Focus
At Georgetown we emphasize a global curriculum in all MBA programs that prepares students for a constantly growing and transforming global marketplace. Our international focus grew out of the trade and diplomacy studies established in 1917 by Georgetown's esteemed School of Foreign Service. While some Executive MBA programs offer overseas residencies that arrange business meetings, cultural events or company presentations, Georgetown's international residencies provide students real hands-on experiences with international business problem-solving and the kind of deep immersion in foreign cultures that comes only from doing business in another country
World-Class Teaching
The faculty at McDonough are distinguished scholars conducting innovative and practical research, as well as experienced business professionals who have made their mark as stars in the corporate world and as entrepreneurs. Most of all, they are extraordinarily gifted teachers. A Worldwide Network
The IEMBA network, which forms in class and continues long after graduation, spans the globe. After completing the program, new IEMBA alumni overcome what they call "withdrawal" by staying active in the community, recommending applicants, providing a network for current participants, and offering their firms as subjects for case studies. They call on each other with advice and career insight long after they graduate. Participants will also have access to many career, social and athletic services provided to graduate of Georgetown. Brand new facilities In 2009, the McDonough School will move to its new $100 million home featuring cutting-edge space, services and technology.
